Speldhurst Nurseries was born out of a ‘green-field’ site 20 years ago and from very modest beginning has been sympathetically developed to earn its place in an area of outstanding natural beauty in the Kentish village of Speldhurst, 3 miles west of Tunbridge wells. For those of you wishing to visit using public transport, the 282 bus from T.Wells stops right outside and a trip can always be combined with some refreshment at the George and Dragon Pub close by.

We are constantly striving to offer the best possible range of plants, the quality and value of which we are proud, our philosophy is to only offer plants we would be happy to use in our own garden. We have an exciting range of herbaceous plants and grasses; the vast majority of these are produced by us here at the nursery. We also have a passion for Japanese maples.
Shrubs and conifers are also well represented and during the summer months when the garden is full of colourful flowers, it is all too easy to over look the plants that form the ‘backbone’ to a good garden design during the bleaker winter months.
